Advocate Dechen Gurung is Senior Associate and a member of the firm’s Investment and Incorporation team, with a particular interest in foreign investment and transactional matters. She has developed real depth in compliance and regulatory regimes, foreign investment and technology transactions the areas that most often determine whether overseas capital can enter Nepal smoothly and lawfully.
Her advisory work also takes in general corporate law, capital markets, and labour law and practice, giving clients a single point of contact across a range of everyday and specialist needs. She is valued not only for her technical grasp but for her manner: her enthusiasm for the work and her ability to reassure and expertly advise clients make her a genuine asset to the firm.
Beyond her fee-earning practice, Dechen is a member of RCA’s pro bono team, contributing her time to work that serves those who could not otherwise obtain legal help.
