Priyatam Shrestha is a Senior Partner and a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal, the senior grade of the profession. He brings more than ten years of experience in auditing and consulting to the firm’s financial practice, and anchors much of its work at the point where accounting rigour meets commercial strategy.
His engagements span business advisory, due diligence review, assurance services, strategic planning and management-process consulting, undertaken for private and public sector entities across Nepal. Clients turn to him for corporate financial reporting and for the application of financial reporting standards, areas in which accuracy and judgment matter in equal measure, and for the kind of diligence review that surfaces risk before a transaction closes.
Through his affiliation with Reliance Law Firm, Priyatam also advises on commercial dispute resolution, including international arbitration arising from commercial and construction contracts. The pairing of chartered accountancy with dispute experience is uncommon, and it allows him to offer clients a rare, integrated perspective — one that reads the numbers and the contract together.
