A distinctive strength of his practice lies in the law governing non-profits and charitable endowments. He has extensive experience with donor-funded projects and with the establishment and regulation of NGOs and INGOs, including the requirements of the Social Welfare Council — the body through which much of Nepal’s development and charitable activity is channelled and monitored. For organisations working in this heavily regulated space, his familiarity with approvals, reporting and compliance is a considerable asset.
